THE PROJECT
The Bologna Airport prefers the design, quality and security of IRIDIUM DOORS.
Here are the characteristics of the doors used: rapid fold-up doors characterised by a self-supporting galvanised metal structure; the mantle is made of self-extinguishing fabric and, in this realisation, features 3 sets of transparent PVC portholes as well as the client's logo.
The main feature of this product is the coupling between the counterweights inside the pillars and the motor/reducer unit; the door is in fact designed in a way to allow, in the event of a power failure, the automatic release of the motor brake and the consequent activation of the counterweights that automatically raise the mantle.
All these features ensure that people/vehicles can use the gateway even in emergency situations.
