IRIDIUM DOORS designs and builds fully equipped loading bays; essential in cargo handling operations from the warehouse to the vehicle and vice versa. Loading bays are basically composed of three elements: the industrial sectional door, a loading platform and an isothermal door.

Regarding the loading platforms, it is important to note that they represent the ideal solution for companies, warehouses and logistics activities in which large quantities of goods are moved daily. Thanks to their robust structure combined with ease of use and assembly, IRIDIUM DOORS hydraulic ramps can be applied in any context and are suitable for handling any type of goods.
Our platforms used for the loading bays are complete with all the accessories for active and passive safety such as a sensor integrated into the control unit that allows the side to unlock in the presence of obstacles, a blocking valve that interrupts any accidental or uncontrolled descent of the ramp if the vehicle detaches from the platform, a safety valve controlled by the operator via the stop button on the electrical panel that interrupts the descent of the ramp in emergency situations, side foot guards and rubber bumpers that prevent damage to the structure due to incorrect manoeuvres of the vehicles.
It is used to seal the space between the vehicle and the shed in order to guarantee thermal insulation even during loading and unloading.
IRIDIUM DOORS provides different types of isothermal portal:
Suspended or “on the ground”: the load-bearing structure is made of hot-dip galvanized steel profiles with an integrated shock-absorbing arm device useful in the case of incorrect vehicle manoeuvres. The front flaps, the side cover and the upper cover are made of double-coated tear-proof self-extinguishing PVC polyester and reinforced in the points of greatest wear. Only the front flaps are made of rubber with double reinforcement tarpaulin.
With cushions (with fixed or mobile horizontal cushion): the load-bearing structure is made of hot-dip galvanized steel profiles, while the front flaps are made of polyurethane foam cushions, covered with double-coated tear-proof self-extinguishing PVC polyester sheet. The latter proves to be particularly suitable for environments characterised by high thermal differences with the outside.

Il portale isotermico sigilla l’apertura tra automezzo e capannone, mantenendo l’isolamento termico anche durante le operazioni di carico/scarico, fondamentale per ambienti refrigerati o soggetti a forti sbalzi di temperatura.
