These shutters combine resistance and longevity, making them perfect for domestic use. IRIDIUM DOORS has also enriched this simple but effective product with its own “know how”, providing it with anti-noise gaskets on both the sides and bottom, and minimizing the space required for installation.
The shutter cover is made up of elements connected by curled joints and high-resistance galvanized steel profiles, with a thickness of 8/10mm, customizable up to 10/10mm. The IRIDIUM DOORS series offers the possibility of installing the cover with both internal and external rolling, adapting to different space requirements. The terminal element, 100mm high, is made of double-walled anodized aluminium for greater durability.
The winding is carried out on a shaft made of galvanized steel tube, the diameter of which varies according to the width and weight of the shutter, in line with current regulations (available diameters: 48mm, 60mm, 76mm and 101mm, with a thickness of 3mm). The mantle is fixed to pulleys containing coil springs in treated steel, calibrated to balance the weight and allow manual or motorized opening. It slides on reinforced lateral guides in 20/10mm galvanized steel, equipped with predispositions for assembly and gaskets in rigid plastic plus black EPDM, which ensure smooth movement and a good seal.
The shaft support flags, with dimensions varying from 300x300mm to 500x500mm, are designed to be mounted both in the opening and beyond the opening.

Galvanised steel threaded elements with external drip completely micro-perforated with 3 mm diameter holes. Used extensively for shop closures (storefront), the important feature of this element is that it leaves the possibility of viewing the material on display but also secures the internal window from vandalism. Also widely used if you need to ensure ventilation of around 20%.
It is always advisable to have the elements galvanised and powder-coated to avoid rusting problems, especially when exposed to the atmospheric agents.

The functioning mechanism of the shutter can be equipped with its proper motorisation or be automated at a later stage, quickly and at a competitive cost. Through the insertion of different types of elements (micro-perforated or perforated) that are compatible and interchangeable with each other, it is possible to obtain the ventilation required by the client and the regulations in force.
The shutter can be upgraded with nylon side retainers or tear proof hooks to achieve class 4 wind resistance. Micro-perforated elements are available upon request for those requiring superior ventilation. The end element, which can be customised with handles and locks and customisable stops and reinforced with a galvanised steel omega. It is designed to accommodate a black EPDM gasket, which also functions as an optical rib. Central or side locks are available for manual or power-off functioning.
